 Day
1 - Istanbul:
Fly to Istanbul, transfer to your hotel.
Meet your guide there. Overnight at the
hotel.
Day
2 - Istanbul:
In the morning at 09:00 pick up from the
hotel. You will be visiting the Topkapi
Palace, Lunch, Hagia Sophia(St. Sophia),
Sultan Ahmet Camii(Blue Mosque),
Hippodrome(Roman and Byzantine era) and
Grand Bazaar. Back to hotel.
Day
3 - Istanbul:
Azizi Mahmut Hüdayi Tomb, Merkez Efendi Tomb,
Galata Mevlevihanesi, Beylerbeyi palace, and
a boat cruise on the Bosphorus . Fly to
Konya in the evening. Overnight in Konya.
Day
4 - Konya:
Mevlana Museum, Şemsi Tebrizi Mosque & Tomb,
Sadtettin-i Konevi (step-son of Ibni-I Arabi
Tomb, Ateşbazı Veli Tomb, Cemel Ali Dede
Tomb, Tabip Ekmelüddin Tomb, Tavusbaba Tomb,
Museum of Tile Works (Medresse of Karatay)
and Maderi Mevlana Mosque. See the
traditional Sema Ritual – the whirling
Dervishes. Overnight in Konya.

5 - Cappadocia:
Today we depart for Cappadocia on the way we
will stop at the Sultan hani(13th century
Seljukian caravansaray on the silk road) and
the Derinkuyu Underground City (Biggest
underground city in the region, used as a
shelter for great lenghts of time during
invasions), Ihlara Canyon (Enjoy a pleasant
and easy 4km hike through this sheeder-sided,
lush canyon with a beautiful stream running
all the way through), Belisirma Village (Authentic
unspoiled village life), Selime (Surreal
ancient monastic site, great panaromic view
point of Ihlara Valley), and Agzikarahan
(13th century Seljukian caravansaray on the
silk road). Overnight in Cappadocia.

6 - Cappadocia:
In the morning at 09:00. Devrent imagination
valley(a lunar landscape), Zelve open air
museum(houses carved in rock, Seljukian
mosque & remains nearly from all the ancient
civilizations), Pasabaglari(Fairy chimneys),
Avanos(pottery demonstration with the
Hittite tecnique), Lunch in the Pigeon
valley(in a cave restaurant - open buffet),
Uchisar rock-castle, Esentepe(panoramic view
of Goreme valley) and Goreme open air museum(rock
cut churches, frescos, monastery). Over
night stay in Cappadocia.
Day
7 - Nevşehir:
Drive out to Hacibektas and visit the town.
See the Museum of Hacibektas, which was the
Houses of the Sufi order. It includes the
shrine of Haci Bektas, the tombs, the door
of the six saints, and many more interesting
sights. We will also visit the Balim Evi (The
house of a poor woman), Cilehane (place of
suffering), Bektaslar (the 5 stones). After
Lunch we will drive to visit the Kaymakli
underground city, Mustafapasa (old Greek
village )and Sinasos. Overnight in
Cappadocia
Day
8 - Kayseri:
Finish the tour in Kayseri with a visit to
the Burhaneddin Tirmizi Tomb. Fly back to
Istanbul in the evening or any other town in
Turkey. |
